Badly coded themes or plugins = the #1 suspects. Anything not built right can crash your site faster than a pop-up scam. This is why I side-eye any plugin that hasn’t been updated in 2+ years or has 2-star reviews and a prayer for support.

• Go into your File Manager or FTP.
• Rename your plugins folder (ex: plugins-hold) or the specific plugin folder if you already know the shady one.
• Refresh your site. If it loads? Boom, you found the villain.
